
Joanna Toch
Barrister
Joanna
Toch has been a barrister since 1988. She obtained her law degree from
Kings College, London University.
She began
her career at the Bar dealing with criminal work then spent 2 ˝ years as
a lecturer at the Inns of Court School of Law training prospective
barristers. She returned to the Bar in 1992 and turned to civil law
specialising in family work. She continued to set exam papers and work
as an examiner for the Inns of Court School of Law and the Bar Council in
civil procedure and ethics.
Joanna
Toch practised at the independent Bar until 2002 when she joined Haider
Kennedy solicitors full time. She remains a door tenant of the Chambers
of Richard Vain at 3, Dr Johnson’s Buildings, Temple.
Joanna
Toch can advise on all aspects of family law including divorce, divorce
finances, disputes about where children should live and how contact with
separated parents should be managed, care cases, disputes between
cohabitees, domestic violence and committals to prison for breach of
court orders. She also deals with licensing and private criminal work.

Joanna
Toch represented Great Britain at two Olympics in rowing and has a World
Championships silver medal. She will ensure that she does all she can to
